Cook (Casual)


Hours:  Casual / On Call (Including Morning, Afternoon, and Weekend Shifts)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 Years experience as Cook in large Retirement Residence
  • Food Handler Certification is MANDATORY
  • Excellent oral communication & basic reading skills in English
  • Red Seal certification is preferred

Job Duties: Under the direction of the Director of Food Services

  • Prepare meals for all residents and guests
  • Keeps work area clean and sanitized.
  • Cook food according to menus and directions from DFS
  • Other duties as assigned.

Wage Rate: As per CUPE Collective Agreement
